Overview
Bloomie is a privacy-conscious pregnancy companion. Your pregnancy information is personal,
and we collect only what is needed to run the app. You can start in guest mode with
local-only records and later create an account for cloud backup, partner sharing, or
multi-device sync.
Information we collect
- Account information: email address and name when you create an account or sign in, including Sign in with Apple.
- Pregnancy and health information: due date, pregnancy stage, symptoms, medications, contractions, movement check-ins, scan appointments, colostrum tracking, and journal entries you choose to enter.
- Your content: notes, scan or journal photos, and voice notes that you add.
- Important info and contacts: hospital, midwife, emergency contacts, and birth-plan notes that you save.
- Partner sharing: invite codes and, if you choose, a partner email. Invited partners get read-only access to shared pregnancy data.
- Subscriptions: purchase and subscription status through the App Store and RevenueCat. Bloomie never receives your card details.
- Anonymous analytics and diagnostics: privacy-preserving usage statistics and redacted reliability data tied to a random install identifier rather than your account.
How we use information
- Provide core pregnancy organisation, tracking, preparation, and journal features.
- Sync your data across your devices and enable partner sharing when you opt in.
- Manage Premium subscriptions and entitlements.
- Understand app reliability, screen usage, feature popularity, and errors using anonymous statistics only.
We do not use your data for advertising and we do not use cross-app or cross-site advertising trackers.
Service providers
Bloomie uses service providers that process information on our behalf: Supabase for cloud
backend and storage, Apple App Store and RevenueCat for subscriptions, and LogRocket for
anonymous, redacted reliability diagnostics. We do not sell or rent personal data, and we
do not share it for third-party marketing.
Guest mode, cloud sync, and partner sharing
In guest mode your data stays on your device. Cloud sync and partner sharing require an
account so selected records can be stored securely and accessed across devices. You decide
when to create an account and whom to invite.
Health information and medical disclaimer
Pregnancy and health details are used only to provide Bloomie's features to you and partners
you explicitly invite. Bloomie is not a substitute for professional medical care. If you
have concerns about your health or your baby's wellbeing, contact your midwife, doctor,
maternity unit, or emergency services.
Security and retention
Cloud data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is restricted by per-user
security rules. Local data remains on your device until you delete the app or clear its
data. Cloud-synced data is retained until you delete your account or request deletion.
Your choices and rights
- Access and export your data from within the app.
- Correct or update your information.
- Delete individual records, or delete your account and associated data.
- Turn anonymous analytics off in Privacy & Data.
- Withdraw consent for cloud sync by staying in or returning to guest mode.
We honor account-deletion requests within 30 days.
